In countless community meetings, South Africans made clear
that they want to see a positive difference in their own lives,
as well as those of loved ones and of their communities at large.
Their contributions had two main pillars. The first was issues
that relate to sustaining lives and livelihoods, which are urgent.
The second related to infrastructure and policymaking that
make their communities liveable spaces for a life filled with
hope, opportunity, prosperity and the ability to take part in
democratic processes.
