Representatives
Members of Parliament and the provincial legislatures as their official rosters list them, ward councillors as the IEC lists them, and the candidates on the IEC’s 2024 lists — each fact with its source. A candidate list is not a list of who was elected; a roster says who is a member on the day it was read.

How people are matched
A roster’s member is linked to a 2024 candidate only when the names are identical, or when the surname is the same and the given names agree in order — and only one candidate on the member’s own party list fits. Anything less stays a separate record, and an editor decides. No one is linked because two names look alike.
Ward councillors are never linked automatically: where someone on their own party’s 2024 lists has the same or a compatible name, the possible match waits for an editor. PR councillors, mayors and speakers are not yet in the record.
