Voting stations

Every station on the record, by election: the stations the IEC’s 2021 results name, and the stations of the IEC’s published 2026 lists once they are approved. A voting-district number that appears in both years is a lead, not proof that the station is the same place: premises are renamed, moved and redrawn between elections.

2026 wards and voting districts

The 2026 delimitation takes effect at the 2026 elections; the 2021 wards stay the geography in force until then. A voting district that crosses a ward line is shown as one area per ward. Stations are not placed on this map: no source publishes their coordinates.

No published source gives station coordinates yet, so no station is mapped. A position is never worked out from an address, a ward or a voting-district area: many addresses name only a village and a town.

How the years connect

The IEC’s voting-district number is the only key the two years share. A 2026 station is related to a 2021 station only when the number is exactly the same, and the relation is labelled for what it is: the same name, a different name (renamed or moved — the list cannot say which), or a number new in 2026. Nothing is merged, and a similar name is never treated as a match.

The 2026 wards and voting districts are the Municipal Demarcation Board’s, dated 4 November 2026. They take effect at the 2026 elections; the 2021 wards remain the geography in force until then. Sources and licences.
