  • Deviation Eviews 2026

Deviation from the standard RFQ process is justified on the basis that Quantec is the sole authorised distributor of EViews software in South Africa, as appointed by the original software manufacturer. The renewal is therefore a sole-source procurement requirement for a specialised statistical tool critical to the organisation’s research and reporting functions. Proceeding with an alternative supplier is not possible, and any delay in renewal would disrupt ongoing research activities and the timely production of analytical reports.

  • Deviation Caseware 2026

Deviation from the normal RFQ process is justified on the basis that Adapt IT is the sole authorised service provider for CaseWare licenses in Africa. The renewal constitutes a continuation of an existing specialised system critical for statutory financial reporting in line with PFMA and GRAP requirements. Any change in supplier is not feasible due to licensing restrictions and would compromise financial reporting continuity and compliance obligations.
