Dispute this record
Tell us what you believe is wrong, and where the official record says otherwise. An editor reviews every dispute against the sources; the record changes only if the evidence shows it should.
How submissions are handled
- Every submission is held for review. An editor checks it against official sources before anything is decided.
- Official records — results, candidate lists, rosters, court records — are never removed or rewritten because of a submission. If they are wrong, a corrected official record is loaded and a correction notice is published.
- Decisions (confirmed, partially confirmed, corrected or rejected) are published on the record page with a short explanation. Who submitted is never published.
- Contact details are encrypted to a key held offline and kept for at most a year; your network address is kept only as a one-way code for 30 days, to prevent abuse.
