Ward councillor

Latest documented: elected at the by-election of 24 May 2023 · IEC result

LEONARD THEMBINKOSI SOSIBOAFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS · by-election of 24 May 2023

The IEC’s list of current ward councillors leaves out every ward filled at a by-election since 2021, so this ward’s councillor is shown from the by-election result: who was elected and when, not a confirmation that they hold the seat today.

The IEC calls its list one of current ward councillors but dates no entry and omits by-election winners. By-elections since November 2016 are in this record; the date a councillor left office is not published with either source.

Member of the Umzimkhulu Local Municipality Council.
