Public projects
National infrastructure projects as National Treasury publishes them in the budget’s Infrastructure Reporting Model: the department responsible, the stage it states, the total budget, and spending by financial year with the kind of figure each one is — an audited outcome, an adjusted appropriation or an estimate. Provincial and municipal project registers are not yet on the record.

How project records are kept
Each record is one project as National Treasury’s infrastructure feed states it, loaded through the audited pipeline and approved before publication. The stage is the department’s own wording, never a status Mandate SA assigns. Budget figures keep their kind: an audited outcome is spending the Auditor-General has audited; an adjusted appropriation is a budget; an MTEF figure is an estimate. None of them is a payment, a tender value or a contract value. Where the feed gives coordinates outside South Africa or no location, the project is listed without a place rather than placed by guesswork. What the public-money record holds.
